akp adopts the principles of supply chain management and its efficiencies . We have therefore developed a loyal and trusted list of suppliers and subcontractors which are audited on an ongoing basis.

We focus on the early establishment of a fully integrated client-supplier project team. From the start this determines the flow of supplies, services, training, integration of all partners and logistics.

Analysis of quality, health & safety and constant monitoring of performance are benchmarks of our attention to detail. We engage in pre and post contract meetings with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure deliverability on behalf of the client.

Value Engineering

Our team goes beyond the traditional remit of ‘the contractor’. We like to consider ourselves a solutions provider. Whilst our ultimate role may vary between projects, we try to adopt a pragmatic approach to partnering and value engineering at project level which in turn ensures the benefits of these “attitudes”, to both clients and our team through collaboration.  Such collaboration commences pre-start and continues beyond the lifetime of the project.
